sweater weather soon
Cat sweater Damien, random dynamic Al and class pen doodles, the usual. All I can say is that when I blog stalk an artist, I immediately seek out their rough doodles. So that is why I share. Good day.

Inspired by my trip to Spain & Portugal.
Ambient colors for environments are a tricky thing that I want to practice more. It' s already October, and being a BFA2 has made Calarts finally feel a like a home. My first year wounds have healed over, and I can laugh about them now. Nowhere to go but onwards to unexplored places.

Some film studies from the Spanish horror film 'The Orphanage'. Thought I'd try to minimize line, cause shapes & tones really define compositions. Good movie, but IMHO the ending felt sappy compared to the twisted themes throughout the rest of it, but it's a nice mother-child story with horror themes, a good family film haha, I like it.

turning False Mythology into an actual comic...
Well I have no regrets about signing up for the Graphic Novel Development class, it's really gotten me hyped up about turning my fledgeling ideas and characters into proper ones, alongside the benefits of professional critiques and course units. Here is a model sheet of Damien, mah baby. Don't mind my silly notes. I'll post more of my main characters soon.
In class assignment for Char Design, bonus Shingeki no Pumpkins/Yukkuris just cause.
Maaaan I just want to design stickers for a living, who would pay 4 bucks for a whole sheet of these lil fellas?
