The most endearing caps lock crusader?...
Just finished reading A Prayer for Owen Meany, my first Irving Novel. Here's a quick book cover style illustration with Owen and Johnny Wheelright, amongst some symbols from the novel; like the stuffed armadillo, armless dummy and infamous baseball. I felt that a levitating Owen shows his ethereal nature.
The ending really tied the knot for me. The random vignettes that composed the story were weaved together into such a satisfyingly witty ending, that if only briefly, a world in which strange characters like Owen Meany exist, is totally believable. I'll forever love stories like this which delicately blend reality and the unknown. Over and out~
