Avcon 2014 wrap-up

Hey guys. I've just been recovering from another great weekend at AVCon Adelaide! Sold the usual masses of stickers and badges, but I'm also thrilled that many of my new A3 prints have gone to good homes!

Quite a few people asked for photos of my Reisen Inaba cosplay, so i've improved my pose-striking abilities. ;) 

Once again, a huge 'thank you' to anyone that stopped by my stall. I can't emphasize how much it means to me that there are people who like my art (& even my original characters) enough to spend money on it! Although I've attended 4 cons this 'summer' but I still can't get enough of the energy and excitement they make!  The 'carny' lifestyle beckons...  I'll leave you with a little Okuu animation I did for 2D practice. ...Till Avcon 2014 that is! I've been neglecting blogger so here's some recent stuff. A group shot of all the characters in Super Dangan Ronpa 2 and some observational drawings done at CDW studios. Aaah, I love being back in Adelaide for the 'summer', just had to share my sentiments. :;)

 

Feeling that Avcon 2014 hype yet?

I've been to a couple of cons over the last few months, but of course....the best is saved for last! I have 20+ new characters for my fellow Adelaidians, alongside other new additions such as... A3 glossy prints!

I'll be at Stall 35 which is near the Artist Alleys' entrance and surprisingly enough, the exact same spot as last year! Huge thanks to Rosie Coleman for getting me into the alley at the last minute. Can't wait to see familiar faces and meet new people!
