1/8th retrospect

So it's a new year now, and 1/8th of my Calarts experience has flown by. The last few months were the first fast-paced-learning-mingled-with-artistic-angst-&-culture-shock sort of experience I've had, but for all the exhaustion, it was super inspiring. Honestly, I can't articulate it all in any less than an 6 page essay, but here's some stuff finished during that chaotic final week of semester one.

A surly centaur sculpture.(ok, I better knock off the alliteration) The cosmic pelt was a 2:30am stupor sort of idea, but I'm slowly brewing up a character for him. Unpainted and painted photos below. Can't wait to try more sculpting!

Also, I finally got around to making a bloggy-banner-thing. Just some personal name symbolism, kudos to anyone that can guess them, hah.

To work hard, grow stronger, have fun, maintain optimism and cherish this journey alongside some awesome and inspiring friends. Those are just a few of my resolutions for this new year. Thanks for reading. Bring on 2013!
